In the last 2 years I have become a scotch drinker… so I found this one interesting. It seems Trader Joes has slapped their own label on a bottle of 12 year Macallan scotch and is selling it for $10 cheaper than any other store I have seen it at in the city.

Same stuff. Cheaper price. Happier ferf.

I guess everything I learned about advertising was wrong.

Quite possible the funniest thing I have ever seen. I watch this video whenever I am in a funk and it cheers me right up. (I also have the ringtone… you never know when you may need to laugh.

So, if you haven’t noticed, I am catching up a bit on blogging and posting photos. The photos below were taken when Amy and I were back in Tennessee. We decided to update the paint and linens in the bedroom. We will do some real upgrades to the house later, but for now, this will have to do.

AFTER And this is what it looked like after. It was a cheap update, but it was one of the first things we have done to the house (after owning it for almost 2 years).

Since it was a nice day out, Amy and I decided to meet Joe for a motorcycle ride and lunch. There is nothing like a relaxing ride on a warm sunny day, cruising up the ocean front and then winding through the woods… ending with a great lunch and conversation.

It’s always amazing to me the number of bikers we see on the way to and from Alices. Seriously, we passed a group going the opposite direction as us that consisted of no less than 100 riders. It was, without a doubt, the largest group of riders I have ever seen in one place.

Anyway, enjoy this photo of Amy, chilling on my bike at Alices.
