Meth Coffee 27.05.07

Meth Coffee

Ever wonder what keeps me running so hard for so long? I can tell you this, the Meth Coffee definitely does not hurt any :) Fortunately, when I can’t get my Meth Coffee fix, San Francisco is home to some of the best little coffee shops I have ever been to and are available everywhere, and at all hours.

Dave — if you are reading this — when are you coming out? I know if anybody will appreciate the 24/7 availability of coffee it will be you.

Amy, Barry and Marty in Breckenridge 27.05.07

Amy, Barry and Marty
This Photo taken by theFerf

It is so easy to get wrapped up in the day to day life that sometimes I forget about all the cool things we get to do. Whether it be in our daily lives through PodShow and living in San Francisco or in the little trips we get to take. This photo is a perfect example.

I had forgotten to blog about it, but a few months back, Amy, Barry and I went to visit our friend Marty in Breckenridge, Colorado. To be honest, the only place I have ever been skiing before was on the man made snow on the hills of Indiana or Michigan. (note, the slopes in Colorado are drastically different!). So here is one of the photos. Of course, click through to see more of the images from the trip.

The Night it Hailed in San Francisco 27.05.07

The Night it Hailed in San Francisco

I’m just catching up on uploading photos and blogging about them, so here is one from February. I was told it was going to be warm (70 and Sunny) here in San Francisco, so imagine my surprise when I was working at my apartment and heard it start hailing! I snapped this photo really quickly of a handful of the hail outside my door.

Driving to Los Angeles, Editing Fit Life
This Photo taken by theFerf

Not too long ago, Amy and I took a weekend trip to Los Angeles to see the musical Wicked (which was amazing) and to see the sites. This is one shot Amy took really quickly from the drive down. She is driving, and I am in the back seat editing an episode of her video podcast “Fit Life”. We had a great time the whole weekend… click the photo to see photos of the Hollywood Sign, the La Brea tar pits and other sites from Los Angeles, CA.

Amy and Amy

I have known Amy and Joe for almost 7 years now. They have been together for 12+ years (way longer than I have known MY Amy) and they have finally tied the knot! Amy and I were fortunate enough to be able to fly back to Indiana for the event (like we would have missed it… especially since Amy was a bridesmaid).

This photo is of Amy and Amy at the wedding reception. Click through to see a few more photos of Joe, the wedding shower and a few others as well.

Congratulation’s Joe and Amy!!

Two Scared Kids a.k.a Cason Gets a Bath 27.05.07

Two Scared Kids - Cason Gets a Bath
This Photo taken by theFerf

This just in! Amy decided she wanted to try and save a bit of cash and wash the dog herself. The issue is, he out weighs her by a good 20-25 pounds. When he decides he is done with the bath, he walks away and there is NOTHING she can do about it. Not to mention it takes about an hour for Amy to blow dry him. Typically we take him to the pet store and they give him a bath, blow him dry, trim his nails, make him smell good and, if we want, add bows to his hair (for about $50). But, for as infrequent as he gets a bath and for as much work as it is for Amy to wash him, the money is totally worth it :)

Click for the bonus photo…Cason does not look pleased!

Amy and Ferf at the Airport, Caffeinating
This Photo taken by theFerf

Last weekend Amy and I traveled to Austin, TX (at least near Austin) to attend iMedia. Amy was the host on the red carpet, introducing a small demo of thePlus! to iMedia attendees. This photo is in the SF airport on the way to Austin getting our dose of caffeine, after having only slept a few hours the night before preparing for the event.

Scott Sigler Destroys Amazon. What Have YOU Done Today? 01.04.07

Sigler InfectionScott Sigler released his book, Ancestor, to the world today through Amazon.com. As of this writing, it ranks #7 in the Amazon.com Top 100 books, right below (and above) the New Harry Potter Book! Which leads me to the question of this blog post… What have you done today?

While Sigler is out using the power of new media (podcasting) to grow support for his published book, what are you doing? You are sitting at home or in the office, reading my blog. I’m proud of Scott Sigler for working so hard at what he does, and finally seeing some of the rewards.

PS. I bought Siglers book this morning, and when I did, he was ranked #1,076 at Amazon. I am amazed that it jumped up to #7 so quickly along such books as Harry Potter and Suzy Ormans Financial Tips book. Way to Go Scott!!
